Drunken Oaths are never a good idea - WHFRP 3rd Ed
Matt Session 21
We meet the Lord and are banqueted again. We hear strange whisperings about the Lord has been alive for longer than is normal and it seems to be linked to a ring he got from a chaos beast.
Nathaniel asks me to look around the castle. I sneak through the servants passages, familiar in the surrounding as that is where I was banished too due to Nathaniel’s mother. I find the Lords quarters and I sneak in. He is asleep and I am able to sneak quite close to him. It appears as if he never removes the ring and I do not think I can remove it easily.
I return to Nathaniel in the house we have been given and report to him what I’ve seen.
Nathaniel talks to the Grail Knight about his concerns and then asks me to follow him. The Bretonnian cuisine is not sitting right with me, but I follow as directed. He goes into the sacred garden, so I slip in after him and hide behind a bush. He speaks to the lady about the ring and turns to leave. It is at this time that a confluence of events causes me to reveal myself. A squirrel gathering nuts is startled when it notices me and jumps at my ankle, this causes me to step back onto some leaves on a patch of ice. This not only causes some noise, but means I slip. As I land heavily on my side, my bowels betray me and I release a noxious gas that the chaos gods would gag on with the accompanied explosive noise. It is hardly surprising that the Grail Knight looks right at me and asks why I am in the Garden. He believes I have followed him and all I tell him is he’ll have to speak to Nathaniel. For the moment I am put in prison.
Day X – X
I’m so ronery. So terribry arone.
